A whole new domain.

FYI, I bought up my own domain so I can drop the "blogspot". So my new address is, www.girlinthesuburbs.com. YAY!

about me & my blog.

i'm just a girl in the suburbs. the san jose--santa clara county suburbs. i live and work in the south bay & spend most of my time in our population-wise big (not urban), but suburban-minded way of thinking community. i live with my boyfiend, nathan, and my lil' chiweenie doggie, shorty.

this blog is my space. my place to put down all my crazy thoughts, opinions and ideas. this is my place to rant about politics, current events, and stupid bands, films and tv shows. this is my place to do what a billion other people on the internet do--write shit that matters to me. hopefully you'll get some enjoyment out of it.

what else? i'm 26 27 28. a health educator & college radio dj. an advocate for all types of issues. a blogophile. love pop-culture as much as i love npr. p.s. i LOVE npr. i'm also somewhat of a music snob. i love reading, and use the library! i love to travel, but don't get to do it nearly enough. i love my growing family. and i am slowly accepting and loving the area i live in. ok, i'm really just accepting the fact i cannot afford san francisco.
